Leader of the ‘bling ring’ gang that has been breaking in and stealing from many of the top Hollywood celeb homes such as Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton, Rachel Lee has now been officially sentenced to serve four years in jail; and since she is not one of the starlets is likely to actually serve her full sentence.
Lee age 21 pleaded no contest in front of the judge while in court for charges that she broke into the home of Audrina Patridge the reality star. Lee is second member of the gang to face a prison sentence after the last few years have seen the gang break into many celebrity homes since 2009.
In an effort to plan their attach the thieves would study celebrity magazines that featured the stars to choose what items of jewelry and clothing they were going to take and used services such as Google Maps to figure out the best way to break into the mansions.
Lee was originally arrested back in January of 2010 although she was not sentenced until this week and charged with taking over £15,000 in shoes, clothing, designer luggage, and jewelry.
